Worüberdie Delier einen Beschluss und Kynthiadas als Gesandten geschickthaben mit der Bitte, die Verkündung der Ehren, mit denen sie denArzt Philippos ausgezeichnet haben, bei den Asklepieia an dem gymnischenWettkampf zu gewähren, und ferner, um ein Zeichen der Erinnerungfür alle Zeiten zu erhalten, den Beschluss über die Ehrungen auf eineStele aufzuzeichnen und in das Heiligtum des Asklepios zu weihen;und worüber auch der Gesandte sich gemäß dem Wortlaut des Beschlussesmündlich geäußert hat; - damit nun auch das Volk in sichtbarer Weiseden Deliern ihre Bitte erfülle und seinen eigenen Mitbürgernin Übereinstimmung mit den ihnen von denStädten gegebenen Ehren in glänzender Weisediese Ehrungen ausgestalte, wolle man beschließen: dass manihnen die Verkündigung gewähre, wie sie es erbaten; die Vorsteherund der Festspielleiter sollen für die Verkündigung Sorgetragen; die Poleten sollen verdingen,den Beschluss, wie Philippos geehrt wordenist von den Deliern, auf eine steinerne Stele aufzuzeichnenund zu weihen in das Heiligtum des Asklepios; den Platz sollendie Vorsteher zuweisen; die Kosten sollen die Schatzmeisterbegleichen aus den Mitteln für die von den Poleten verpachteten (öffentlichen)Arbeiten; dass man den Gesandten einlädt zum Bankett in dasPrytaneion laden; auch sollen ihm die Schatzmeister für dasOpfer von den zuvor besorgten Geldern übergebenfünfzig Drachmen.

- - -it was decreed by the council and people, proposal of the prostatai: concerningwhat the Delians request, having send a decree and ambassador Kynthiadas,to grant a proclamation of the honors with which the physicianPhilippos has been honored at the athletic contest of the Asklepieia,and, so that a memorial may existfor all time, to inscrbe the decree of the honorson a stele and erect it in the temple of Asklepios;and the ambassador spoke in accordance with what has beenwritten in the decree; therefore, so that the people may be manifestto the Delians as attending to their requests and to its owncitizens, with regard to such honors given bycities, as agreeing and makingthe honors visible, it is decreed: to grant themthe proclamation as they request;the prostataiand and the agonothetes are to see to theproclamation; the poletai are to contract toinscribe the decree as Philippos has been honoredby the Delians, on a stone stele and erect itin the temple of Asklepios; a place is to be designatedby the prostatai; the treasurers are to pay the costfrom the funds assigned by the poletai for construction;the ambassador is to be invited to hospitality in theprytaneion, and the treaturers are to give him for asacrifice fifty dracmas for the allocatedfunds.
